In the spirit of one my favorite blogs, I really did it up for the drawing this time around, People. Like a true Occupational Therapy Patient, I wrote the numbers of all entrants on buttons and then let my Man Boys draw the winners. Fun.
Small Man Boy drew from 216 buttons for the Fat Red, Black & White Box O' Love. With eyes closed, he dumped . . .
And picked . . .
#16 gets the SUPER TERRIFIC PRIZE #1: the Fat Red, Black & White Box O' Love.
It's KATIE, who said:
"I have been wanting some black and white gingham to make a top - and the rest of those awesome fabrics would probably go towards bags. Great giveaway!!"
We would love to see pictures of your top when you make it, Katie. High five for embracing gingham. (It's my uber-favorite always.)
Big Man Boy drew from 94 buttons for the Vintage Doubleknit Sidesaddle Bag (an extra little giveaway for my Regulars, who I imagine as sitting on my couch while I sew.) With his eyes closed, he dumped . . .
Regular #20 on the Master List of Regulars gets SUPER TERRIFIC PRIZE #2: A Vintage Doubleknit Sidesaddle Bag.
It's MEG, my Best Buddy From College/Wienerdog Tricks Regular who I already made this Sidesaddle Bag for:
. . . and who I know would want somebody else to share in the love--and who I am going to send another extra special ready-to-sew gift to (a fat stack of cut squares I didn't use when I put together my quilt.) Which will make her terribly happy.
So--with tension mounting and with both Man Boys COMPLETELY over the thrill of button picking, I approached the Man Spouse and asked him to participate in this Very Important Endeavor of Finding Another Regular to Send the Bag to.
I think he likes to be included.
So, Man Spouse closes his eyes and dumped . . .
Regular #80 on the Master List of Regulars wins the Vintage Doubleknit Sidesaddle Bag.
It's STACY! who said:
"I love all your use of polyester. I have been a lurker for a while, but for that turquoise stripe I will come in."
Start watching the mailbox, Stacy, because the bag is yours.
Thanks, Sew Mama Sew, for being the sort of place that brings us all together to do things like stay up into the wee hours clicking on other people's blogs and then writing numbers on the back of buttons. We appreciate all that you do over there at the hub of our Blog Solar System. You are the Sun to our Mars.
